Paul has been a performing musician for the past 25 years. As a guitarist he has played with many well-known St. Louis area musicians; including Valerie Tichacek, Mae Wheeler, John Pyatt, Jan Ammerman, Leslie McLean, the Bosman Twins, The Original Knights of Swing Big Band, and The Sentimental Journey Big Band.

Paul’s music education began in the Lindbergh School District in the 1970s, and continued in Webster University’s Music program, earning him a Bachelor of Music degree in 1987. He has continued studying privately and in master classes with internationally known guitarists Pat Martino, Paul Bollenback and Corey Christiansen.

He feels equally at home within a variety of group configurations; solo guitarist, accompanist to horn players and vocalists and as a member of several larger ensembles. The repertoire of these groups spans popular song from the 1930s to the 1960s, including many Latin styles including Bossa Nova, Samba and Afro-Cuban.
